I love to cruise which is why I’ve started this blogging adventure. When I’m out on the ship in the middle of the ocean I feel free and the real reason we started going on cruises, beyond that it was more cost effective, was because it was the one way my husband and I could be completely disconnected when taking vacation days from our jobs. This allowed us to truly enjoy our vacation and we weren’t worrying what was happening back home or checking our emails constantly. We were fully present in our experience.
I love that almost all of our answers were different! There is no doubt our little’s love the camp programs on the lines they’ve been on. When the little little talks about feeding the fish that was when we were in St. Thomas and at Coral World. Check it out if you haven’t and we’ll have more on each of these in future posts!
Fun fact about Dan and I. I invited him on a cruise to celebrate my 30th and it was one of our first true getaways together. We had been dating for about 10 months. Fast forward to a year later and we got engaged on the Carnival Pride (hence why that’s his favorite—awwwww). We even won a ‘ship on the stick’ during the cruise and used that as our wedding cake topper! We also used the onboard shopping expert to help us look at diamonds and our bands.
While I should have said the same thing I went with the Grandeur for the look. It’s a smaller ship and yet one of the most beautiful centrum’s I’ve ever seen. I literally feel as if the ocean is right next to me.
Now it’s your turn! We want to know the following about you:
- What’s your favorite cruise?
- What’s your favorite island?
- What’s your favorite excursion?

What do you think?
