Amy thanks for sharing your comments! Finding a good agent who will work on your behalf is part of the trick. There are a ton of agents out there are are more on the bookings and moving on versus the relationship building! And if they were good at that they would have offered to make amends. I'm so sorry to hear this! And I do agree on the RC customer service we usually call and talk to those that run the casino programs have found they are more helpful and since we spend at least $100 in there they've been great to deal with just a little tip there. I have seen now they are using the bidding system for rooms to make some extra money and in my opinion it's ridiculous I'd love to see them offer free upgrades!

I may be too much of a control freak to ever use a travel agent again. I used one for the first time recently , booked a cruise through RCL , the next day after I booked the price dropped $1100!!! I couldn’t reach the travel agent so I tried to call RCL myself and hey wouldn’t help me with the 48hr price match . Got ahold of agent finally but now am too late because they booked from hold status . If I had booked on my own I would have $1100 or more in on board credit right now . I didn’t find RCL customer service to be very friendly either, and they didn’t offer anything, yet other passengers were getting offers to bid on upgrades... gave me they care more about making an extra dime than customer service. So disappointing
